OUR FOCUS:

Our aim is to carry our identity on our outerperson. Our apparel speaks before you, the wearer speaks.

It says: I identify as a child of God.

You are not a mother; but a child of God who is a mother.

You are not a pilot; but a child of God who is a pilot.

You are not what happened to you; but a child of God, who has experienced...

As you understand what being a child of God means, and lean into your brand new nature, everything changes. Your world changes, all filters fall away and you see everything through this perspective. You will not fall victim to the vast amount of identities that culture offers and tries to impose on you.

You are free, your Identity is solid. You are a son or daughter of God.

THE GOSPEL:

About 6,000 years ago, God created the world and put Adam, along with his partner Eve, to tend the garden He had made. He gave them His very nature,  image and also the ability to choose: free will.

They enjoyed a perfect relationship with God and each other, yet chose to do the one thing He asked them not to, eat from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Through the lie of “God is keeping something from you,” Adam and Eve's perfect nature was broken as sin entered into the world.

God is all-knowing and outside of time, He wasn’t  surprised by this, and already had a way to restore the good and perfect nature. In Genesis  3:15, God already foretells His rescue plan to once again restore people to their original state.

His plan was to defeat sin and its payment: death (Romans 6:23). To restore human nature, thus restoring humankind’s relationship with Him.

God introduces Himself to main characters throughout the course of the history of humanity; with this He teaches who He is, how He works and how humans, without their original and intended nature cannot be in true community with God, for He is perfectly holy and just.

Fully God and fully human, Jesus walked on earth and lived the perfect life we were meant to live from the beginning. Mankind chose disobedience, He chose to obey God (John 5:20)

He took on our sin upon Himself on the cross. He never sinned so when He was crucified, death could not hold Him (Acts 2:24).

He rose on the third day and paid our debt. He defeated God’s biggest enemies then and there. The two things separating mankind from God, sin and death.

And now, anyone who believes can also take on the nature of Christ, the second perfect Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45-49). This allows us to walk in our new Identity: God’s Child and co-heir with Christ.
