Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning.
Morning Prayer-‘Father we thank you for this new day, we sincerely appreciate you, Lord. Father thank you for the blessings of yesterday, we went out and came back simply because you preserved us, we return all glory to you, Jesus. Father, we bring today before you, order our steps aright Lord, cause us to make wise decisions this day; we pray for our family and loved ones, we decree peace on every side for them in Jesus name amen.
Topic: Are You Faith Filled?
Opening scripture: Romans 10:17-‘So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’
Faith is very important in the life of every believer. Hebrews 11:6- ‘but without faith, it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him’. It is practically impossible to please God without faith; James 1:6 to 8- ‘but let Him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wsaveth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed, for let, not that man think he shall receive anything of the LORD, a double-minded man is unstable in all His ways’. All through Hebrew 11, we see how men and women experienced signs and wonders all through by reason of their faith. Is your faith in God alive?
If faith is so important, how then do we get it? Romans 10:17- ‘So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’. It comes by hearing, there are so many things we could listen to, but for faith, it comes primarily via God’s word, the more of God’s word you take in, the more your faith comes alive. God’s word is key to boosting your faith. We can’t afford to be faithless, faith is a shield. Ephesians 6:16(Holman Christian Bible )- ‘in every situation take the shield of faith, and with it, you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one’. Friends, let your faith come alive, hold on to His word. Remain Blessed.
The lesson for the day- faith is our access to seeing God’s wonders.
Quote for the day-‘Let your faith come alive’

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning
Topic: Testimony In Disguise
Opening Prayer: Father we thank you for today, thank you for your unfailing love; for your blessings that makes rich and adds no sorrow, to you alone be all the praise in Jesus’ name, Amen. Holy Spirit of God over to you today, we can’t lead ourselves, lead us in the way we should go this day and take all the glory in Jesus’ name Amen.
Opening Scripture: Acts 16:25
“Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening.”
While Paul and Silas prayed and praised, the Bible made us understand that the prisoners were listening to them. When we go through rough seasons, we ought to understand that it’s a testimony in disguise and how well we handle it determines how others around us would see the beauty of our God. The prisoners were listening, and I’m sure some laughed, others waited to see if their God would show up, and because God is faithful indeed He did show up.
Acts 16:29 “Then he trembled for a light, ran in and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.” Reading from verse 26-28, God stepped in, the prison doors were flung open; immediately the prison keeper bowed at the awesomeness of their God. It didn’t stop there, see what happened next (Acts 16:30) ‘And he brought them out and said, Sirs what must I do to be saved?’, He wanted to go with their God. After Paul and Silas spoke God’s Word to him, he took them to his house so that all there would be saved as well.
See how God turned things around. I prayer concerning that issue you’re going through, you won’t just come out of it unnoticed, but God shall deliver you in a grand style like he caused an earthquake as in the case of Paul and Silas and that men would come to Jesus because of you. God can turn every situation around, it may seem as though all is bad now but don’t give up, your testimony is on the way. Remain Blessed.
Lesson for the day: “What we go through is an avenue for people to see the greatness of our God”
Quote for the day: “I am a testimony”

Monday, January 23rd, 2017.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning.
Opening Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus we thank you, we sincerely appreciate you for this day. Lord, we ask that you help us to live in a way that’s pleasing to you. Help us to take your word seriously and run with it all the days of our appointed time amen.
Topic: What’s Your Testimony Going To Be?
Opening Scripture: Hebrew 11:5-‘By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God’.
Glory to God hallelujah !. Our opening scripture this day tells of Enoch; the Bible says Enoch was translated i.e he did not experience death, Enoch did not die the way men did, God simply took Him. Why was it so? The scripture made us understand that Enoch had this testimony which was he pleased the Lord. God just had to reward Enoch like no other.
Beloved of God, what’s your testimony in your work with God? Can God testify of your faithfulness? Can God make a boast of you like He did for Job in the Bible even before the enemy ? Job 1:8 – ‘And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?’. What a joy if the Lord can testify positively about you too. We ought to learn from Enoch our lives should as well be pleasing to the Father. When our lives please the Lord, He takes charge of all that concerns us. Many however miss it, they tend to please men and don’t put God in the picture, God can’t testify of you that way. Some are waiting for commendations from men. Live your life in such a way that God Himself can testify positively about you.
How then can we please the Lord? It is by doing what His word says, it’s to esteem His word more than everything else, having a love work with Him. You’ll never know what the word says if you don’t study, you’ll never have a revelation of His word if you don’t spend quality time with Him. Adjust your schedules and see to it that your time with God is not tempered with. Pleasing the Father is what gives real value to our walk with Him. It’s my prayer that you won’t disappoint the Lord in Jesus name amen
Remain Blessed.
The lesson for the day- Our lives ought to be sold out to the Lord:
Quote for the day- ‘I choose to please the Lord’

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning.
Opening Prayer: Father we are grateful, for the dawn of a new day we appreciate you. Thank you for life, thank you for counting us among the living. Be glorified Lord in Jesus name. We ask for a renewal of our minds Lord, cause us to live for you in Jesus name amen.
Topic: Spiritually Mindedness.
Opening Scripture: Romans 8:5- ” for those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit”.

There is a saying ‘where your heart is, that where your loyalty is’. In this world we are, your mind is either spiritual or carnal, you can’t hang on the fence, and you can’t possibly posses both. Now, to be carnally minded and spiritually minded both have their reward; Romans 8:6-” for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace”. When you subject your mind to carnality, what you really do is hand over yourself to death, but when you channel your mind to focus on things that are spiritual, you open yourself to life and peace.
Why is this so? Romans 8:7-“because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be”. The carnal mind is simply against God, as the bible puts it, it’s enmity against God, who can be an enemy of God and survive? Certainly no one. So then our minds need to be renewed, Romans 12:2- “and do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God”.
How then can our minds be renewed? By the word of God. The word of God is the antidote we need to renew our minds. Psalm 119:9-“how can a young man cleanse his ways? by taking heed according to your word”. The word of God is what we need to transform our minds and leave it fit in order to lay hold on life and peace. Take out time to study God’s word on daily basis, never get too busy for His word, and as you do, you begin to experience a renewal, life and peace would be yours as well. Remain Blessed.
Lesson for the day–  We must constantly feed ourselves spiritually
Quote for the day– “Be spiritually minded”

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning
Opening Prayer-‘Lord thank you for this morning, we return all glory to you Father, for the dawn of a new day. We commit our ways before you, we ask for your leading this day. This we pray for every user of the highway we decree there shall be no loss for them in Jesus name amen.
Topic: Be Born Of God.
Opening Scripture: Job 14:1-‘Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble ‘
Drawn from our opening scripture, the bible makes us understand that man who is born of a woman is full of trouble and have few days as well. Someone may be wondering, but everyone has a mother which man then would not be full of trouble? That man is the man that is born of God; 1John 5:4-‘ for whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith’.
Friends, you must understand that until you are born of God, the power to overcome is not guaranteed. You need to be born of God because, in the flesh, you can’t really serve God. John 3:6 tells us ‘ that which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit’ and, 1John 3:9 tells us ‘whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God’. You need to be born of God i.e you need to be born again. To overcome, salvation is key as no man still in the flesh can. If you’re born again, keep up at it, grow in the spirit, if you’re not, then I must tell you what you’re missing out on is the greatest gift. The good news is you too can be born again. Contact the sender of this bc for further info or your spiritual head in your local assembly. I see you overcoming all hurdles your way in Jesus powerful name amen.Remain Blessed.
The lesson for the day-‘ when you dwell in the flesh you are not bound to overcome’.
Quote for the day- be born of God’

Fresh From Heaven Says Good morning.

Opening Prayer- Father in Jesus name, we appreciate you for this blessing called today, thank your for your good hand on our lives. Father, we lift up all users of FFH to you this week, Lord make it a week of progress and good news in Jesus name for them. This week is declared blessed for you in Jesus name amen!
Topic: Building Up Spiritually.
Operating Scripture: Matthew 26:41-‘Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak’.
There is a constant battle between our spirit and our flesh; Galatians 5:17 tells us -‘For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would”. No wonder our opening scripture says the Spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Jesus, however, told us what to do, and that is to ‘watch and pray’. Spiritual sensitivity is lacking today because believers have thrown away value for the spiritual and pursue the physical. See how the Holman Christian Standard Bible puts matt 26:41-‘Stay awake and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” My emphasis is ‘stay awake’. A lot have been on a spiritual sleep for too long; it’s time you stay awake to watch and pray.
Friends to conquer your flesh; you must be spiritually active, you need to build up your Spirit man, it’s, however, a non-transferable responsibility. Jude 1:20-‘But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost’. When was the last time you had a day set aside to pray or spend quality time with the word, not your morning and night prayers alone, but seeking God’s face, searching through His word for new revelations?. Never get settled with where you are spiritually, there is room for improvement. God speaks daily, so thirst for fresh empowerment on a daily base. I see you spiritually sound, taking dominion over the flesh and it’s desire as you build yourself up in the Spirit. Remain Ever Blessed.
Lesson for the day- spiritual empowerment is key to overcoming the activities of the flesh’
Quote for the day-‘be spiritually active’.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good morning.
Opening Prayer
i) Father, we sincerely thank you for all that you’re to us. We really can’t deny your faithfulness.
ii) Lord, help me to willingly submit my ways before you and walk in the path you design for me in Jesus name amen.
Topic: What Are the Fruit of Your Choices?
Opening Scripture: Proverb 13:13-‘ AMP:The backslider in heart [from God and from fearing God] shall be filled with [the fruit of] his own ways, and a good man shall be satisfied with [the fruit of] his ways [with the holy thoughts and actions which his heart prompts and in which he delights]’.
Whatever decision or move we take, they are outcomes. For instance, if one decides to live a life of praise, you’ll see that things would begin to turn out fine, live a life of prayer and you would see that you would begin to commune with God more, if you choose to live a life of worries, you complicate situations and experience setbacks. Life is not neutral; our decisions brings outcomes attached to them.
This is why we need to be divinely guided in all we do. The Bible says the backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, those who are far from God shall be filled with their own ways, can you really depend on your decision through life? Why not allow God take over and be satisfied with the fruit of His ways. A lot are not with God, yet they want Him to rule over the affairs of their lives, it doesn’t work out that way, you need to be committed to Him, then He’ll take over. James 4:8 (NLT) – ‘Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world’. He needs your total submission to work in you, your loyalty must be to Him and not the world.
The fruit of our ways can’t be as great as the fruit of God’s ways, most times our fruits turn out to be worries, stress, negative thoughts, fear etc. while His fruits are peace, progress, joy, promotion, success etc. Allow Him lead your life and begin to enjoy the fruit of His blessings. Remain Ever Blessed.
Lesson For the day – we must learn to submit and yield to God in all we do
Quote for the day– would you rather eat the fruit of your ways or the fruit of God’s ways?

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning
Opening Prayer:
i) Ask the Lord to grant you more grace to look up to Him alone and not on any man.
Topic: Trust Him Without Reservation
Opening Scripture: Jeremiah 17:5-6
5 — (NLT) This is what the LORD says: ‘Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.’
6 — (NIV) ‘That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.’
The reason why many would never see God is because they are looking up to men. You cannot claim to be looking up to God and also at man, one cannot be on the fence — it’s either your heart is fixed trusting the Lord or it’s looking up to man. Our opening scripture makes us understand clearly that those who look to men are cursed. They will go round circles as the arm of flesh would fail. Some are of the pattern of being in church seeking for solution, however, immediately they step out they’ve gone to other sources for help. Such ones are only deceiving themselves, they’ll never see good from God because their heart is not fixed on Him.
However, for the one who trusts in God, we see what would become their portion from Jeremiah 17:7-8
7 — (NIV) ‘But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.’
8 — (NIV) ‘They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.’
There is absolutely no need for those who place their trust in God to be afraid, He will always defend His name in their lives. Friends, are you believing God for anything? Then take your eyes off men and look to the Father alone, He would not disappoint you. Remain Ever Blessed!
Lesson for the day: we must place our trust in God alone.
Quote for the day: those who look to men will never see God.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

Opening Prayer:
i) In your own words, appreciate the Father for God’s benefits towards you.
ii) Pray that the Lord would divinely lead you in all your endeavours.

Topic: Divine Direction
Opening Scripture: 1 Kings 17:3-4 “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
Divine direction brings about divine intervention. For any man to attain great height in life, it is largely dependent on the leading of God upon His life. When God leads a man, he is sure to get to his destination. A lot are struggling in the journey of life simply because there is no leading. They rather settle for myths and other information that soothes their soul. Some have enjoyed some measure of leading but lost it as a result of pride, thinking they can now make it on their own. Daily, we must depend on God for His leading. Never ever claim to know it all, else you will fall before you know it.

When God leads a man, He doesn’t always go through the natural way of doing things, His leading brings about divine results. Understand that everyone being divinely led by God enjoys supernatural provision. From our opening scripture we see the story of prophet Elijah, how God led him by so doing telling him to turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan and God caused the Ravens to supply him food. Ravens are known to be stingy birds, they find it hard to feed their young ones, yet God used this same set of birds to feed His prophet. I, therefore, decree on the authority of God’s Word, that God would use even those that have set themselves against you to favour you.

Friends, this journey of life is frustrating without divine direction, hence we must seek the face of the Lord. Stop making decisions and asking God to join you half way. Just because something feels right doesn’t always makes it right, rather depend on Him totally and trust Him all the way, then you surely would see God’s goodness in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

The Lesson for the day: We need to be divinely guided.
Quote for the day: Don’t live on assumptions, live on directions.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

Opening Prayer:

  1. i) Father as a family we adore you; you have been dear to us. Lord, we can testify of your faithfulness. Thank you for every user of FFH devotional, you have seen us through it all we thank you Lord.
  2. ii) Pray for yourself asking the Lord cause your heart to believe what His Word says above every other thing.

Topic: Believe In His Word

Opening Scripture: Luke 1:45 “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

God’s Word is ‘yea and amen’ (2 Corinthians 1:20), there is no changing, no readjustment, God’s Word has no need to be reviewed, it is settled already in Heaven (Psalm 119:89) — a lot of people know what the Word says, but not all believe truly what the Word says, they claim to believe but the truth is they don’t; hence they look on to other sources or to men for help. The Bible makes us understand that the one who believes, will receive a performance of those things which the Lord has spoken so without our belief in place, we may not see the performance of those things which God has spoken.

If you believe the Word of God, it is going to show in your actions, it will come out even in the way you speak. You won’t need to depend on other sources, your one and only true source would be the Word. As believers, every one of us must graduate from knowing the Word to believing the Word of God regardless of what’s before us. We must speak what the Word of God says about our situation and not otherwise. We must hold to the Word of God even when all seems to be crashing, this is so because God’s Word will not fail (Matthew 24:35). Take a list of the issues that you’re currently faced with, search God’s Word concerning them and begin to declare what the Word of God says concerning them. As you do, His unfailing Word would bring about your miracle in Jesus name, Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: We can always count on God’s Word for solutions.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: God’s promises towards me are unfailing.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Go ahead and appreciate the Father, many wished they’ll see this day but they are no more. Make known to God in your own words that you don’t take the breath of life for granted.

ii) Ask the Lord to en-grace you so you’ll be focused on Him.

Topic: Focus On Jesus

Opening Scripture: Matthew 14:29-30 (NLT) – “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.

Reading from verse 25 of Matthew 14, Jesus on the fourth watch of the night went to his disciples walking on Sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on sea, they were troubled and taught it was a spirit. Jesus however spoke telling them to be of good cheer that He was the one. Peter responded saying ‘Lord if truly you are the one, bid me to walk upon the waters. So it was Jesus said to Him come and Peter started to walk on water’. We must however take note of something, the Bible says in verse 30 of Matthew 14 that when Peter saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. We should learn a lesson here, never to take our focus off Jesus no matter the situation we find ourselves. Peter was doing just fine when his attention was on Jesus, the moment he saw the strong wind and the wave, the Bible said he began to sink.

We must learn not to focus on the challenges that surrounds us, but on Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrew 12:2 — “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”. The Bible says we are to look to Him, not to the challenges that surrounds us. The reason why many are sinking is because they are focused on the challenges rather than on Jesus. Don’t forget 2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV) — “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit”. What does it mean to behold? It means to see or observe someone or something, so as you refuse to see the situation before you but see the faithfulness of Jesus your life would be changing from one degree of glory to another how glorious !.

Beloved of God, let Jesus be your focus and He will focus on your challenges. Choose to see His faithfulness rather than the challenges, it is my prayer that God would put a new song in your mouth to sing in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

Lesson For the day: Making Jesus our focus prevents us from sinking in life’s waters.

Quote for the day: Look unto Jesus.

Sunday, 18th December 2016.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good morning.
Opening Prayer
i) Go ahead and appreciate the Father for His unfailing mercies towards you.
ii) Ask the Lord to help you reach out to the needy.
Topic: An Identity with the needy.
Opening Scripture -(Acts 2:45- 47)
They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshipped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
If there anything I know about our God is how He strongly identifies with the poor and the needy. Anytime I read passages like this, as in the opening scripture, I sometimes wish this was the way we acted as Christians but we have come so far from this, that we tag it as not being the reality. Today, I want to remind you of that man in your neighborhood you pass by daily without shoes, that woman that has been wearing the same cloth every day and you have constantly seen her and ignored, the woman who lost her husband and is finding it hard to care for her children, your brother who lost his job and cannot pay the school fees for three of his children.
In Matthew 25: 31-46, God takes the place of the poor again, again and again, and says when you did not clothe the poor, feed the sick, give water to the thirsty you have done this to me. The word righteous is used to describe the people who have done these things. We see the same love to the widows, the poor and so on in Malachi 3:3-5 and in tonnes of scriptures scattered in the bible. In fact, James 1:27 does not beat about the bush with this “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” You might not have come across this scripture a lot because it is not common in a lot of our services.
God’s love for the needy and the poor is overwhelming. I got sent this message a while ago. “The doctrines and teachings of Christianity are fine; they don’t just live it. So why should I become one?” The non-Christian emphasised by saying there is no oneness in Christianity. When one fails or falls instead of helping the person come back on his feet, they walk away and judge the person.
I tell you people want to be Christians but they are looking at you (2 Corinthians 5:20), and your actions towards the needy and the poor could make them turn to God. Remember, how the opening verse ends. It says, and more were added to their numbers. If we were doing it right, there will not be any needy in our churches. One final note, don’t stop at the junction that leads to compassion (sympathy), make the turn. Think about this!
The lesson for the day –God identifies with the needy.
Quote for the day – Don’t stop at the junction that leads to compassion (sympathy), make the turn.

Saturday 17th December 2016.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good morning.

Opening Prayer

i) Go ahead and appreciate the Father for His unfailing mercies towards you.

ii) Ask the Lord to increase your appetite for His word.

Topic: Fear Is Not Of God.

Opening Scripture -2 Timothy 1:7-‘For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind’.

When one becomes born again, there is a translation that occurs from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. Satan no longer has the final say over the life of such individual. When one becomes born again, the Holy Spirit begins to work in the life of the new believer guiding him on how to live and how to resist going back to the old life. We must be fully aware that the Spirit of God is not the spirit that infuses fear in the life of the believer, this is why our opening scripture makes us understand clearly that the spirit God has given us is ‘of power’, ‘of love’ and of a sound mind’. Fear is of the devil, and we must not subscribe to it.

You see F. E.A. R. actually means (F) alse (E)vidence (A)preparing (R)eal. It’s only to infuse confusion causing one to run Helter skelter. It comes most often as thoughts, the enemy begin to suggest to you things like,- you are going to die of that sickness, you are going to dwell in poverty, you are not going to graduate, your marriage would crash, your admission is not possible, you would not give birth, that appointment won’t come along etc. All these are his scheme to keep the believer unease. Hence we must be vigilant (1peter 5:8).

What must we do to see that words of the enemy don’t cause us to tremble? We must hold firm the word of God. It is the word you know that will come out of you against the enemy on the day he comes fighting. If you don’t know what God says about you, you’ll agree to what the enemy say, you can’t be neutral. You must, therefore, give yourself to studying the word of God to live triumphantly. The word of God is our stronghold; Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) – ‘For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart’. When you have the word of God in you, it would judge every taught in you and cause you to see only the way God sees not the world. It’s my prayer that you’ll triumphantly put the devil to shame at all times via the instrumentality of God’s word.
Remain Ever Blessed.

Lesson for the day – ‘ the word of God in us causes our heart not to fear but to trust in the Lord’

Quote for the day -Joshua 1:9-Have I am not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) God has done all things well, go ahead and bless His Holy Name. Take out time and thank Him specifically for His blessings upon your life.

ii) Go ahead and pray for yourself asking the Lord for grace to have a heart that would be quick to dwell in love

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:14 (HCSB) — “For if you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well”.

As long as we are on earth, men are bound to offend us. We live a different life from those who dwell in the world hence we have to meet with them in the office, market, schools, banks and everywhere we go hence we must dwell with them with wisdom. The truth is even among believers, you’ll still find some who’ll treat you the way you don’t like, this has caused many people to change their place of worship because they don’t want to be in contact whatsoever with such individual at all, the truth is wherever you go, you will come in contact with people; maybe believers with different mindset from yours.

This was why Jesus encouraged us to forgive those who offend us. He told us if we forgive men their wrongdoing our Father as well will forgive ours, that’s how important forgiveness is. Friends, when we forgive, what we are doing is saying: “Lord this person hurt me, but I trust you enough to handle it so I let go of the person and trust you to intervene”. Satan knows God is pleased when His children dwell together in unity — Psalm 133:1 (NIV) — A song of ascents of David — “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”. He knows this therefore he would want to sow seeds of discord which will in turn manifest to become hate and bring division. Apostle Paul knew this hence he spoke to his flock in 2 Corinthians 2:10 (ESV) saying: “Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ”. What was his sole aim for saying this? We find the answer in verse 11 (KJV) — “Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”. I like the way the New Living Translation puts it Verse 11 (NLT) — “So that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes. We must be quick to forgive so Satan will not take advance of us, we must outsmart him, dwelling in unforgiveness is one of his evil schemes and we must not fall for the trap.

Has anyone offended you? Friends, let go! Remember when you do so, you are committing it in God’s hands and He’ll handle the issues perfectly. Have you also offended anyone? Be quick to apologise, remember pride goes before a fall (Proverbs 16:18). It is my prayer that the enemy won’t take advantage of you but you’ll outsmart him at all times in Jesus name — Amen! Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: As God’s children we must not allow Satan take advantage of us.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: I choose to let go and let God take over.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) God ahead and appreciate the Father for the priceless gift of life and His good works in your life.

ii) Go ahead in prayers asking the Father to turn every negative issue in your life to a testimony thereby pulling men to Him.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 2:14 (NLT) “But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume”.

Praise be to God forevermore! Apostle Paul speaking in our Opening Scripture, he was appreciating God for making us His captives. When a man dwells in sin, he is a slave to sin but when he’s born again he becomes bound under righteousness. Romans 6:18 (NLT) says: “Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living”. He went further to appreciate God for causing us to experience Christ’s triumphal procession — the winning lifestyle of Jesus. You’ll agree with me that those who crucified Jesus rejoiced when he was placed in the tomb (Matthew 27:57-61), little did they know that the Son of God could not be trapped hence on the third day he arose taking with him the keys of life and death (Revelation 1:18). As believers bound with Christ, we also are bound to experience triumphs. What they thought had finished Jesus began the reign of His life. Beloved of God, I declare this morning in the name of Jesus, what men taught would keep you perpetually grounded, before their very eyes God would use it to elevate you in Jesus name, Amen.

Looking at the later part of our Opening Scripture, we see that God uses us (the believer) to spread the knowledge of Jesus Christ everywhere like sweet perfume. When you release perfume in the atmosphere, it can’t be trapped, people would perceive it; this is how God causes our lives to be. How would He do this? Via His good works in our lives, He’ll cause all men to be amazed and indeed turn to serving Him. Are you currently bothered over any issue? Child of God relax! God would turn it to a testimony that would pull men to serve Him with you in Jesus name — Amen. Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: Our lives are deposit ground for God’s blessings to pull men to Him.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: My life is a testimony!

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) In your own words appreciate the Father for the dawn of a new day and for all His blessings over all that concerns you.

ii) Pray that God would cause your heart to be fixed on Him at all times.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: James 4:8 (NLT) — “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world”.

It is God’s will to have a working relationship with all His children, however, we have our own part to play. God is ever constant, He does not change; man is the one who’s prone to changes. If you ever need to have a deeper work with God, it is man who would need to work on himself to see it come to pass, God is already fixed.

Being born again is non-negotiable however in this Christian race, you need more than just a change of status from being in the world to being in God you need to grow in the things of God, therefore we are told from our Opening Scripture that if we go close to God, He in response we come close to us; hence sinners are admonished to wash their hands and purify their hearts. Why is this so? Simply because their loyalty is divided between God and man which ought not to be. You can’t be in God and the world together, this was why Joshua told the people in Joshua 24:15 (NLT) – “But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD”. He made His choice to have undivided loyalty between God and the other gods around and we see that he was greatly helped by God. Friends, there’s no shortcut to it, it’s either you are for God and you’re pulling close to Him via His Word, prayers, meditation and other channels that builds spiritually or you’re not. Do a self-check today is your loyalty divided? Or God is at the centre of all you do? It’s my prayer that you won’t miss it in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: God is ever constant, we are the ones who needs all the growing to see God glory.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: I choose to be loyal to Jesus.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father thank you for the privilege of seeing a new day, thank you for your hand upon our lives, you’ve indeed done all things well.

ii) Go ahead and ask the Father for grace to stay on the path of righteousness.

Opening Scripture: Proverb 13:25 (NASB) “The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, But the stomach of the wicked is in need”.

Praise be God forevermore! We see from our Opening Scripture that the righteous will always have enough to satisfy His need but the stomach of that which is wicked will be in need. You see beloved, salvation brings about satisfaction, however, the wicked (those who dwell in sin refusing to come to the knowledge of the most high God) the Bible says such ones shall be in want. The righteous man has God as his Shepherd hence he’ll want nothing good (Psalm 23:1) because God in His way would make adequate provision; we see this from Psalm 34:10 (NASB) “The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing”.

God is mindful of His children, He takes special care of them, if you are not yet a child of God I tell you, you’re missing out big. You must be aware especially in these last days that there’ll be a clear distinction between those who are serving God and those that are not (Malachi 3:18). Enough of postponing your day of salvation, if you are yet to be born again you need to, the good news is you can be saved now, all you need is Jesus to be Lord over your life and make Him the Shepherd of your soul; you can say this prayer believing in your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I acknowledge I am a sinner, I ask that you forgive me and cleanse me with your blood. From today till forever, be Lord over my life and all that concerns me in Jesus name”.

Congratulations, being a child of God brings heavens attention on you, you can’t afford to miss God in these times. To ensure you not just stay on the right path but grow on the right path you can contact the sender of this broadcast or your Pastor at your place of worship. I see your life transform gloriously in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: God sees to the well-being of the righteous.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: Psalm 34:10 (NASB) “The young lions do lack and suffer hunger But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing”.

Fresh from Heaven Says Good Morning

  1. i) Father, we give you all the glory for the dawn of a new day. Thank you for bringing us this far, take all the glory Lord in Jesus name Amen.
  2. ii) Lord, help me to be contented with everything you gave me.

TOPIC: It is not Fair

 Romans 3:5-6

“But,” some might say, “our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?” (This is merely a human point of view.) Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world?

Isn’t it unfair that some people are born rich while others are born poor, some lads are short and others tall, some are naturally talented at doing something and others can’t, or even worse some people are born blind. In conclusion, it seems like life is so unfair. In general, for those who believe in God or a god blame God for supposed disadvantages while those who don’t most of the time call it luck, I guess the big bang had a role to play in that.

A particular biblical example of unfairness will be the story of the man blind from birth (John 11:1-9). Whenever we think of a natural disadvantage which we might tag as being unfair remember that it’s for His glory. Usually, there is a glorification attached to that perceived deficiency, there is something you can do with whatever that might be that could shoot you into the realms of a shining star. That is why whatever the deficiency might be that is where Satan perches. In this story the man was said to have no sin, so also his parents, I believe his story would have been similar to that of Job, where the devil inflicted him with a serious ailment so that he could rebel against God but he didn’t. I thought about the story and thought about the soul winning he would have undertaken, how his already high passion for God would have increased from a man who all he probably knew was begging for arms who now has all he has ever needed; to see the blue skies, to see where he lived, to see his children (If he had any), look at himself in the mirror and see his closest friends all of which we count as normal. If he didn’t rebel against God I don’t want to too. He was an ambassador of the Kingdom of God, a man who had an unwavering faith I am “envious” of and you should too. So whenever, you are in an unfair circumstance, remember, that there is a glorification attached.

Don’t feel that your natural disadvantage is unfair and hence blame God, as Christians, we should follow the path of the restored blind Ambassador;

  • Continually work in the path of Christ even though you think that you have been unfairly disadvantaged.
  • Don’t be arrogant or doubt the means of your miracle because your day of glorification might come in any form.
  • Follow the voice of the Holy Spirit no matter how stupid it might sound.

Have an awesome day!

LESSON OF THE DAY:  Learn to be contented with what you have.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: So whenever, you are in an unfair circumstance, remember, that there is a glorification attached.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father thank you for the dawn of a new day, we sincerely appreciate your holy name.

ii) Ask the Lord to baptise you afresh with the Spirit of Joy.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 12:3 — “Therefore with joy shall ye draw waters out of the wells of salvation”.

Salvation offers the believer a life of triumph. However, to saved and not be rightly positioned to take full delivery of your redemptive right is defrauding yourself of the blessings allotted to you by God — hence we will be looking at a key way of accessing all that God has given to us as a reason for our new life in Him — Revelation 5:12 “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing”. We have a 7 fold redemptive right in Christ as seen above, it’s not enough to know them alone, we must lay hold of them and experience them.

How then do we lay hold of them? We see from our Opening Scripture that we do this with “Joy”. Joy and happiness are two different things; you may be happy now and be sad the next moment but a joyful man does not draw strength from what he see around, his joy is placed in the Lord regardless of what seems not to be working around, the joyful sees God’s faithfulness. This is an express way to getting our redemptive right in Christ. You’ll agree with me that with the present situation on ground, murmuring and complain seems to be the right thing to do; it seems right but it’s not, murmuring and complaining would only bring destruction (1 Corinthians 10:10). The instruction looks simple but friends, do not take for granted the simplicity of the Gospel. Being joyful is the way, allow nothing or anyone steal your joy, hence you must draw strength from God’s Word. You must allow His Word to become the base of your life, not material possessions or any other thing. Friends, ask the Holy Spirit to baptise you afresh with the spirit of Joy today in the name of Jesus — Amen! Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: Maintaining a joyful lifestyle is a sure way to get our redemptive right.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) “And Nehemiah continued, Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!”

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, we thank you for the dawn of a new day, you’ve done all things well to you alone be all praise in Jesus name, Amen.

ii) Hold on to a scripture and declare it over your life.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Lamentations 3:37 “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?”

Nothing can be more authentic than God’s Word. His words are yea and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20), everything would fade away but His Word will not (Matthew 24:35). His Word is Spirit and life (John 6:63) and in His Word, we find our worth (2 Corinthians 3:18) If we uphold God’s Word in our lives then our lives would yield results. However, some persons tend to take the opinion of men more serious than God’s Word. You see its funny how some persons would remember the evil words spoken by someone to them as far as 3 to 5 years ago and they believe so well such negative reports are having express effects in their lives yet they don’t hold on to God’s Word same way.

Friends, if it’s not from God it doesn’t carry weight. Stop exalting negative results over God’s Word. If it’s not written in the Word concerning you then you can let go of it. Learn to exalt God’s Word above the opinion of men as you hold on to His Word I see your life transformed in Jesus name, Amen.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: We must at all times uphold God’s Word above the opinion of the world.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: God’s Word is Supreme.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Lord, we appreciate your name, thank you, Father, for being truly wonderful to us indeed you’ve been faithful.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 1 John 5:4 (NIV) “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith”.

Indeed our God is faithful. Our Opening Scripture says there are a certain set of people who will overcome the wiles and woes this world has to offer, these people are those who are born of God. When a man is born of God, He operates in a new level of distinction, the very life of God is what he carries as a born again child of God. What gets others worried is a stepping stone for you because every situation that presents itself, God is able to turn them (the challenges) to stepping stone for you; to get to the top because He must defend your name in His life.

We learn from 1 John 5:19 that the whole world lies in wickedness, however, we are bound to overcome because the greater one lives in us (1 John 4:4). When a man is born again, there is a divine covering over his life, things are not permitted to attack such a man at will — why is this so? By reason of new birth, the born again in Christ is seated far above with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6),  far above the reach of the wicked.

Do you have a covering over your life?  If not Jesus is willing to be the shield of your life all you need is to become His own. You can say this simple prayer in faith believing in your heart: Lord Jesus,  I thank for dying for me, thank you for loving me even when I didn’t know you, I ask that you please forgive me my sins,  cleanse me and make me whole in you now and forevermore in Jesus name Amen!

Congratulations! Being born again is the best thing any man can do for himself and I’m glad you did. I pray for you in the name of Jesus; that the good hand of the Lord shall continue to rest mightily upon you in Jesus name. Amen! By reason of your being born again, you’ll overcome every obstacle and soar new heights to the glory of God in Jesus name — Amen!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: Everyone who is truly born of God has a unique life.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: I am Victorious!

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, we celebrate your faithfulness, thank you for your wonderful blessings towards us, we are alive and well because you sustained us; to you alone be all the glory in Jesus name — Amen.

ii) Ask the Lord to engrace you to believe His Word more than the opinion of the world.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Matthew 19:26 (NLT) “Jesus looked at them intently and said, Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible”.

The challenge with most believers is not the devil but their inability to see and believe that which God has said. As a child of God, agreeably you are in the world but you are not of the world, hence you must not think like them otherwise you’ll live like them. We must learn to see and think beyond what the world places before us, we must see beyond the world’s structure of things and believe that with God all things are possible.

The world has a pattern, their taught are aligned with a pattern, for example as a student in the university it is expected for you to graduate, seek for a job, work to save, think of marriage, continue working to survive the family until your maker calls you — what a low way of thinking. Who told you that you cannot be commanding financial exploits legitimately and not by fraudulent means at a young age? What makes you feel you must seek for a job? Why can’t a job seek for you? Who told you it’s a must to struggle your way to the top? Yes there is a place for hard work but never mistake hard work for hardship. I see the mindset of someone being delivered today in the surest name of Jesus — Amen!

It is important therefore to align your life to the pattern of the world, consciously pattern your life after what God’s Word says not the laid down rules from the world. These words are for a user of this devotional: don’t believe the lie that you must struggle for everything, there is the place of divine direction for the believer and it commands the favour of God to bring about sweat-less triumph — may this becomes your portion in Jesus name. Beloved, don’t let anyone talk down your God given dreams; Humanly speaking like our Opening Scripture said, it is impossible with man however not with God for with Him all things are possible. I pray for you in the name of Jesus you are entering into a new realm of progress, you will not be cut short, you’ll fulfil destiny in a grand style; only believe in God. Have a most enjoyable day.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: As believers, our lives are not structured after the world but after God’s Word.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: I am destined for the top.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, we give you all the glory for the dawn of a new day. Thank you for bringing us this far, take all the glory Lord in Jesus name Amen.

ii) Lord, help me to recognise the voice of the Holy Spirit.

OPENING SCRIPTURE:  (Luke 7:23 NKJV)    And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Today, I will take you briefly through two examples of a negative reaction and a positive reaction when we are faced with situations that might not be entirely pleasing. If we follow the story in our open scripture you will understand that it was John, the Baptist who was offended by Jesus that prompted Jesus to make the statement He made. In Luke 17:19b, we see John sending his disciples to ask if Jesus is the Christ or if there is someone else to come. This is the same John Baptist that baptised Jesus and saw the Spirit of God descend on Him like a dove (Luke 3:22), but why was John the Baptist in doubt? Because he was in prison and Jesus did not come through for him.

Now let us look at someone else, who was in a similar situation to John the Baptist and see how he reacted. In Acts 16, we read the account of Paul and Silas who were thrown in prison and in Acts 16:25, this was said about them, “Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening.” So regardless of the prison situation and despite all of the beatings in the middle of the night, their breakthrough came after continually praising God. No doubt whatsoever, that their God will come through for them.

Sometimes, when you are in a prison situation, your first thought could be to  cry out ,where are you, Lord? Instead of crying out in agony cry out in praise and remember the God you serve is the creator of everything and everything works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). If you read Acts 16:25, you will see that the breakthrough of Paul and Silas was at about midnight but then they would have started praising God prior. So your breakthrough might not come immediately but it will surely come. Praise is the key out of any prison situation you might be in. Remember, the ultimate show of faith is praise in the name of God, despite prison situations and blessed are those who have not yet seen but believe.

Have an awesome day!

LESSON OF THE DAY: Praise is the key out of bad situations (prison situations).

QUOTE OF THE DAY: The ultimate show of faith is praise in the name of God, despite prison situations.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, we give you all the glory for the dawn of a new day. Thank you for bringing us this far, take all the glory Lord in Jesus name Amen.

ii) Ask the Lord to concentrate your heart and cause your love for Him to take root downwards and bear fruit upwards.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Proverb 19:23 (KJV) “The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall be satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil”

Having the fear of the LORD is more than a show before men, it’s your stand when no man sees you that defines if truly you fear the Lord or not. It’s very easy to put up a show before men, but how’s your lifestyle when no man sees you? Joseph in the Bible proved to us He had the fear of the LORD and indeed we should emulate him. He was alone with the Master’s wife; he could have laid with her and kept it secret but no, Joseph saw what was set before Him as sin, not an opportunity hence he said to his Master’s wife: “How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” — Genesis 39:9b (KJV).

Having the fear of the Lord is being able to differentiate between what is sinful yet appears to be an opportunity. Don’t be deceived, God does not open doors of opportunity with sin alongside, God is holy and there is no unrighteousness in Him (Psalm 92:15). Having the fear of the LORD is having the consciousness of God along side with you in all your dealings. If you truly fear God regardless of what is set before you, you’re not moved however you carry God’s interest at heart. Friends, men may not see you but God does and that’s why Galatians 6:7 (KJV) says: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap”. It truly pays to fear the Lord the Bible says for the man that fears the Lord such one will be satisfied (with all round goodness) and will not know evil. It is my prayer that you’ll stand for God anytime, anywhere, any day and as you do, indeed He’ll defend His name in your life. Having the fear of God may be costly and make you appear foolish; it took Joseph to prison but God turned it and caused the same Joseph to rule in a foreign land because God cannot be mocked, He’ll surely stand for those that stands for Him. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: The fear of the LORD is key to living a life filled with His blessings.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: The fear of the LORD might be costly but the end result is priceless.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Lord we appreciate you for the dawn of a new day, we thank you for divinely protecting us and causing us to see a new day, we bless your name Father. We ask that you see us through this day in Jesus name — Amen!

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Hebrew 13:8 — Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

There is only one name by which man can be saved and that name is Jesus (Acts 4:12). Everything in this world will crash and fade away but Jesus remain the same — still glowing in glory. He did miracles years ago while on earth and we are yet to recover from them. He healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, mended broken hearts, gave hope to the hopeless, restored joy to the lost/rejected, fed the hungry, raised the dead, gave meaning to lives of mere men and made them great.

This same Jesus has not retired, He’s still helping the helpless, healing the sick, delivering the oppressed, giving joy in place of sorrow, giving meaning to lives; the good news is in your life He still can make a way. There is no need to be discouraged, Jesus is still on the throne and He’s still making a way where there seems to be no way. He’s never late, He’s always on time if only we can have faith in Him then we’ll see His good works in our life. This morning I want you to be encouraged, Jesus is alive and He loves you. Our Redeemer lives, does it seems as tho your case is closed? Calm down! When Jesus arrived at Lazarus grave it appeared as tho He was late because he (Lazarus) was there for three days already but the truth is, Jesus is never late. Indeed the dead man Lazarus came back to life; He’s the solution to every problem, He specialises in making a way where there seems to be no way. There is hope for you, stay strong believing in Him; He’ll cause His glorious light to be seen in your life. Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: We can rely on Jesus.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: Jesus is ever faithful.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, from the depth of our heart we truly return all glory to you. You’ve caused us to see the last month in the year 2016, no one could have done this else you. Father thank you for your goodness, thank you for always being with us, if we lost anything it is because of You, we didn’t lose everything, we are grateful Lord in Jesus name Amen.

ii) Pray for yourself and your family, ask the Lord to fulfill His Word of crowning the year with His goodness in your lives. Psalm 65:11 NLT (You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance).

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 1 John 5:21 — “Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen”.

Most people, after reading the Word in 1 John 5:21, they are quick to commend themselves saying: “Thank God; I am not serving an Idol”. What they mean in essence is, they don’t have any graven image — but an Idol is not limited to a graven image alone — the New Living Translation Bible (NLT) of our Opening Scripture says: “Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts. Anything that would take God’s place in your heart is considered as an Idol. You see they can appear to be innocent as a matter of fact some are, you may wonder how? Take for an example, a woman who has waited for so long to have a child, she fellowships with God, she’s in constant touch with Him; finally her heart desire came to pass as a result of God mercies, gradually she shifted her focus and place it on that child, she gives the baby all her attention to the point that having time to relate with God becomes an issue — an innocent child; a blessing, but has become an idol to the mother. Friends, we must not allow ourselves to raise idols in our hearts, we must not value anything above God if we do then we could be termed as idol worshippers.

It could be your car, your spouse, your vast expanse of land, your bank account, your title, we must never esteem such things amongst others above God. Anything you can’t give up has become an idol as well, so we must watch it. Beloved, material possessions would all fade never make a big deal out of it, be careful how much you value the things you possess they could turn out gradually to become idols and end up taking God’s place in your heart, this won’t be you in Jesus name.

Our savior deserves the very best of our heart. Check it just maybe you have unconsciously been involved in idol worshipping desist from it and ask the Father to forgive you. It is my prayer that nothing would take the place of God in your life in Jesus name Amen! Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: We must never esteem anything above God.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: God comes first in my life.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Lord, we thank you for a new day, we sincerely commit our ways before you this day, take the lead and cause us to follow in Jesus name Amen.

ii) Ask the Lord to strengthen you as regards any issue of your life you need Him to.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV) — “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me”.

Praise be to God forevermore! This morning our Opening Scripture is taken from ‘2 Corinthians 12:9’ and we see the Words of Jesus; He made us understand that His grace is sufficient for us and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Beloved, we can always rely on Jesus for strength when it appears we are going weary; this was why He told us in Matthew 11:28 (NIV) — “Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest”. So many people, however, miss it here they tend to want to carry the burdens alone, no wonder a songwriter said: “Oh what needless pain we bear all because we do not carry our issues to God in prayer”. In the world, you are told a problem shared is a problem half solved the but the truth is, a problem related to God has solved completely already. His grace is ever sufficient, His strength is never failing so we must not slack in relating with Him.

How best can we draw strength from God? We can through prayers when we pray we pour our heart before the Father and we truly feel light. This is so because the burden bearer has taken it upon Himself to see that you are relaxed. Hannah in the Bible experienced this; after she prayed as regards her childless state at Shiloh we saw that her countenance was no more sad (1 Samuel 1:18).

Another way we  can be energized is by studying God’s Word — Jeremiah 15:16 (NLT) — “When I discovered your Words, I devoured them. They are my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies”. When fellowship with His Word, His presence becomes present with us and you know in His presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Don’t give up beloved, God’s strength is made available for you all you need to do is draw from Him via these channels: Prayer and His Word.
I see you strengthened by the power of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: We can rely on Jesus to strengthen us as we go through life.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: Jesus is the pillar of my life.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

“Father thank you for this awesome day, you have done all things well, I exalt you. Lord just a day to go and we’ll be in the last month of the year, this is clearly your handwork and we return all glory to you, we couldn’t have come this far on our own, we sincerely appreciate you, Jesus”.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 4:13 — “We having the same spirit of faith, according to as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak”.

The operations of the Kingdom of God is clearly different from that of the world. For example, in this Kingdom, the more you sow (give) the more blessed you become (Proverb 11:24 ) but in the world, you need to keep; to be blessed but we give instead in this Kingdom. Another example is in this Kingdom, we tune to praise when things are not going as expected (Psalm 67:1-6) but in the world when things are not going well the next thing to do is to murmur and cry, however; for the believer in Christ that’s the best time to praise; so you see we operate by different set of rules.

This morning we would see yet another. Apostle speaking from our Opening Scripture, relating believing and speaking; that is an expression of Faith for the believer. Friends, you must stop wishing in your heart the things you want to see come to pass in your life, you must graduate to speaking them; it’s not pride, it’s aligning with scriptures. Until you speak your desires they may be buried inside you. Remember in this Kingdom we operate differently — 2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight”. So we are not looking at what is seen but that which is unseen. Are you yet to have your children? Keep speaking their names with boldness believing God, they’ll come forth. Are you trusting God for that house? Keep speaking it, could it be for your miracle spouse? Don’t relent keep speaking your marital bliss, maybe it’s for your admission, business contract, health, finances or you are trusting God for you marriage which is on the verge of crashing, friends, keep speaking what you want to see this is so important!

2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV) — “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever”. Refuse to see the troubles around, see the glorious end. Friends, as you begin to work in faith, God indeed would be pleased (Hebrew 11:6) and He will show up in His mighty on your behalf. You won’t lose out in life in Jesus’ name Amen! Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: You don’t wish want you want, you speak it for God to confirm it.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: My life is one to be marveled at.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, from the depth of our heart we sincerely appreciate you, we return all glory that’s due to you Father. Thank you for the priceless gift of life, you’ve been more than enough for us. Thank you Jesus;

ii) Father, I ask that you help me stay focused on that which is needful. Help me not to take my focus off you.

Verse 40 (NIV) “But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”;

Verse 41 (NIV) “Martha, Martha, the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things;

Verse 42 “But few things are needed–or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.

Praise God for this wonderful morning. This morning we are looking at Luke 10:40-42. Jesus went visited Martha and Mary, indeed it was more than a pleasure to have Jesus in their home. Something however happened, while Martha went about preparing special delicacies for the Master to give Him a non-forgettable treat, Mary sat down with the Master doing no work — she sat at His feet listening to Him, probably she was laughing out loud; this, however, did hurt Martha she cried out to the Master to bid Mary to come join her in preparations. Jesus, I’m sure smiled and called Martha and told her to stop being worried and upset about many things and made her see that only a few things are needed, indeed only one thing Jesus told her and He made her see that Mary had chosen that which was needed.

I like the way the NIV Bible puts it. It says Martha was distracted by the preparations. Friends, it’s the same way with most believers in life. You see, nothing can take the place of fellowship with God, absolutely nothing. Martha was doing what was right but not needful. A lot fall in Martha’s category, this morning God is calling us to be like Mary to choose that which is needful and that’s to fellowship with Him. When you establish fellowship with Him, you don’t have to worry about things, He’ll cause things to fall in place for you. This is why Matthew 6:33 says “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” Which things? Things others are dying for be it – cars, houses, children, spouses, sound health, contracts etc. They’ll all be added without struggle. Friends, seek to know the Father more! It’s non-regrettable, seek to know Him and He’ll reveal Himself to you (James 4:8) as you go for that which is needful, I see your life progress upward and forward in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

Lesson for the day: Fellowship with God is the most important in life.

Quote for the day:
More of Jesus; less of self.

Fresh from Heaven Says Good Morning.
i) Lord, grant me the grace to constantly recognise you for who you are.
ii) Lord, I commit my day into your hands, help me to go one step closer to attain my purpose.
1 Samuel 8:5b: “Now appoint us a king to judge us [and rule over us] like all the other nations.”
A king is a ruler and just like a physical ruler he aligns the path of his people towards a certain path. God was the king of Israel and He was in charge of the affairs of Israel. He put Samuel to be His prophet but as he appointed his son as leaders. These sons were dishonest and so the people of Israel wanted their own king and to be like other nations. God warned them of the calamities that will befall them if they decide to have a king and be like other nations but they rejected and still wanted a king of their own. God in His mercy yielded to their desires and Saul was appointed.
The fact is sometimes in life we might be faced with certain circumstances and problems which might not be expected and might make you feel down. The question at that point is who is your king? If God is your king, you are to report it to your king. However, you decide to take the law into your own hands and look for a solution yourself. If God is your true king, then you must report the case to Him. He knows more than you know, He is the beginning and the end. God even warned the Israelites of the calamities that will befall them but still wanted a king of their own. Brethren, every time you are faced with a calamity and the king is not aware you are disproving God as your king. Rather, than the Israelites to convey the problem to Samuel who then conveys it to God they skipped Samuel, skipped God and then came up with a disastrous solution.
God is the King of Kings and as the king of kings we too are kings in this life and He is the king of you who is a king. You are a ruler of something God wants to be done on earth and that is your purpose. As a ruler, your purpose is your subject and you are to make the path of your subject straight. However, do not seek to be like other nations, you have a specific target and a specific purpose, the day you seek to be like another nation your subject begin to suffer. God’s purpose for you is perfect!
Sometimes, it does happen that yes we forget God when we face calamities but then in His mercies, He shows us signs of the things to come, if we take a certain step, don’t be stubborn, humble yourself to the fact you made a mistake and God in His infinite mercies will forgive you.
Have an awesome day!
LESSON OF THE DAY: God is your King and you too are a king.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: Your purpose is your subject.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Lord, we say thank you for your good hand upon our lives, we sincerely appreciate your doings. To you alone be all the glory;

ii) Lord order my relationships in life, help me to keep wise company and in your mercies; separate me from every relationship that does not have your approval.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 6:14 NIV — Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Praise be to God forevermore! I have come to understand that the believer in Christ is no ordinary being, he/she operates by a set of rule different from that of the world. I mean this world is only a passage for the believer after which we’ll return home (Heaven) which is our real base, hence Jesus reminded us that we are in the world but we are not of the world (John 17:16)

Our Father is also on the look out for us, He wants us to come home as well so He’s at every point in time ensuring we live right by the leading of His Spirit. An area God is strongly concerned about is, the company we keep. Most people think it’s not too important, they feel they can hang around the bad company and won’t be influenced; such mentality is wrong. You see, nothing is more true than God’s Word in 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV) — Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character”. Our Opening Scripture as well tells us not to be yoked with unbelievers, if you’ve ever seen oxen that which are yoked, you’ll understand, wherever Ox A goes that’s where Ox B must go. We are not to have such a relationship with unbelievers because they’ll corrupt us on the long run. We have nothing in common, our lifestyle differs. The truth is, as a believer you can’t be friends with just anybody; you must guard your salvation jealously so you much check your company.

Someone may say if we don’t mix up with unbelievers how are we going to save them? Your duty is to tell them about Christ and pray for their conversion and leave the rest to the Spirit of God. So don’t get it mixed up — Apostle Paul mixed up with all manner of them to ensure that they were saved, his aim was to see them saved in Christ, not for friendship purpose. Friends, it’s on you, do a self-evaluation on your friendships. Your friends either make or break you — be guarded! It’s my prayer that your company won’t pull you away from God but closer to Him in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON OF THE DAY:The believer’s company should be God’s approved.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: My company either makes or breaks me.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Go ahead and thank the Father for being mindful of you;

ii) Ask the Lord to strengthen your heart to trust in Him at all times and not turn away from Him.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (AMP) — Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].

The God we serve is not a user of men but a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11:6). This is where most believers miss it, they tend to serve quite alright however they look up to man for their reward in a bid of doing this they get frustrated because no man can reward your service like God would do. Your reward is not in the hands of your pastor, or unit leader it is clearly with God. We must also understand that it is service from the heart that pleases God not serving so you’ll be acknowledged by men; that is why Ephesians 6:5-6 charges us to serve not as men pleasers but as unto the Lord.

Beloved in Christ, God does not forget anything we do in favour of his Kingdom and the Saints, He takes records and of a truth, He has His reward. Therefore like our Opening Scripture has charged us, let us be firm in serving God and His cause on the earth; doing more than enough like the scripture puts it (giving it your best alongside with extra) knowing that your continual labour in the Lord is not wasted, friends, your tireless service to God is not futile.

Have you been serving and it seems as though there is no reward, does it seem as tho things are going down the drain quickly? God’s Word says in Hebrew 6:10 (NLT) — “For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do”. He will never forget how hard you have worked for Him, He’ll surely settle you with your heart desires. I encourage you today to serve more, give it all your best, payday is coming and it’s really close. It’s my prayer that you won’t back out on God at the time of your reward in Jesus name Amen. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON OF THE DAY: When we commit ourselves to serving God, we in turn position ourselves for God’s reward.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: I will be supernaturally rewarded.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, you have caused us to see a new day, it’s not by our power nor might, we deliberately return all glory to you;

ii) Lord help me to maintain a constant active relationship with you.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Genesis 5:24 AMP “And [in reverent fear and obedience] Enoch walked with God; and he was not [found among men], because God took him [away to be home with Him]”.

Praise be to God forevermore! This morning we are looking at a man called Enoch. The Bible makes us understand from our Opening Scripture that Enoch walked in habitual fellowship with God as a result, God personally took Enoch home (Heaven). The question for us this morning is, how is our walk with God? You see amongst other things God desires from us is “Fellowship”, many don’t have a working relationship with God, some would say I’m always in church though. it’s more than that; you can be in church but not in touch with God. Our God has feelings too, remember in Genesis 3:8 we saw that He came down during the cool of the day to meet with Adam and his wife to be with them but they both hid because they had sin. Friends, God wants more than church activity, He wants fellowship.

Enoch actually stayed in fellowship with God it was His habitat, God didn’t allow him see death, I’m sure maybe God and Enoch just strolled their way down home. It takes love for you to always be with someone. If your love for God is in place then you’ll always want to be around Him. You’ll always want to study His word; you’ll have His praises readily available on your lips, you’ll never take delight working in ways that please the world. It pays truly to love God: 1 Corinthians 2:9 — “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”. Friends, let’s take our walk with God serious, God is interested in a relationship with each and every one of His children. As you pull close to Him, He too would pull close as well (James 4:8). As you establish a relationship with God by pulling closer to Him I see you have life changing experiences in Jesus name. Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON OF THE DAY: God wants more than activity, He wants a personal relationship with us.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: God is interested in me.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, we sincerely appreciate you for your ceaseless love towards us, thank you for being there for us even when we couldn’t see the way we sincerely appreciate you;

ii) Ask the Lord for grace and strength to stay focus on the race of righteousness.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 9:24 (AMP) “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.

Praise God forever! This morning our Opening Scripture is taken from 1 Corinthians 9:24. We understand that we are all in a race. Apostle Paul states to us clearly how we should run this race, he says we should run this race of life so we may hold on to the price (Christ reward). How well are you running your race friends? Are you running with all sense of diligence or running just at your pace? You’ll agree with me that in a race no athlete is there to run at ease, each athlete strives to get to the finish line before his/her opponents. How well are you running?

We know that when an athlete is about to run he/she does not dress up putting on the finest of lace, the latest brand, a well-polished shoe and even expensive jewelry made of pure gold etc; each athlete tries to look as light as possible so as to run fast, therefore, no excess luggage is required when running. Same with us who are in this race of life; sin is an excess luggage you can’t afford to run this race of life successful carrying all manner such as lies, sexual immorality, stealing, backbiting, sowing of discord etc. You can’t possibly run with all of these and get to the finish line to collect your price; no excess luggage is required to run the race of life.

Friends, how well are you running this race? Apostle Paul could attest for himself, he said in verse 26 of 1 Corinthians 9 (ESV): “So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air”. He wasn’t running aimlessly, his eyes were fixed on the finish line, he had no excess luggage hence He could say in “2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV) — I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful”. It is my prayer that like Apostle Paul, you too would have a good testimony about your life at the end of your race. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: Let’s keep focus on our race of righteousness.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: I will get my crown.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Go ahead and appreciate the father for a new week, bless His holy name;

ii) Father cause my heart to be weary through life storms, always make me remember that in you I am secured.

As a military personnel, your uniform commands respect for you. It makes you stand out — this is how it should be for every believer; knowing you have Christ. With God on our side we can scale through; we can succeed, there’s no need to fear or worry because Jesus is for you.

A believer is different from the people in the world — what happens to be their fear should not move us because our life is not like theirs. We are covered, fully backed up by Heaven. Does this mean we don’t go through challenges? We do but we have divine assurance and guaranteed victory — Isaiah 43:2 (NIV) “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze”.

We are fully defended — are you truly in Christ? Then don’t worry about the situation of things God does not forget His own — Isaiah 49:15 “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee”. God has you in mind be rest assured of this and like our Opening Scripture has rightly told us, no can successfully be against us when we are in Christ; they may try but they’ll crash. Carry this mentality in you that with God on your side you are fully covered. You are scaling new heights in Jesus name Amen!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: The believer in Christ should not be afraid of the ills around, this is so because there is divine exception for us.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: With Jesus, I am protected.

Fresh From Heaven says Good Morning

1) Thank God for a new day and for the awesome grace of the cross.
2) Tell Him how important it was that He died for you. Tell Him what it means to you.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Matthew 5:43-44- “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbours and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!”

Do you think that God does not Love you, maybe you think your past life is the reasoning you are suffering in life. Let’s make a case then, one for you and the other for God. No judgements would be made , I will leave the answer open because it is personal for different people, I say you judge for yourself.

One thing I know is that our God is not a hypocrite. He would not tell you to Love your enemy (Matthew 5:44) and then be an enemy with a sinner. Our God is not a hypocrite, He will not say, we should remove the speck from someone else’ eye when we have not removed the log in our own eye (Luke 6:42). Therefore, if He tells us to love our enemies then why will He not love those who are sinners. Understand that God loves sinners but not sin.

He offered His son to die for us even before we were born this shows how much show God loves us. There is no special qualification for you to deserve His love, it’s free . While He was hung on a cross, He prayed for the people who hung Him there. Indeed our God is no hypocrite. Man constantly disobeyed the law, yet He came and died by the hands of those He created and got slapped in the face with the very thing he hated the most; sin ! He took it all for our sake knowing even after sin has been taken care of, man will still sin, yet, he gave man a chance, to enter into this amazing grace, this grace that is greater than all of our sin (Romans 5:20).He gave the law and man could not live by it, He set an example by being obedient to the same law proving perfection is not possible with man but it is with God (Matthew 19:26).

Before you judge that Christian brother or sister, remember God sees them differently. Christianity means being like Christ and not Christ. He/she is not perfect but is perfect because Christ is perfect. He/she might not turn the other cheek, but Christ did it for them, He/she might not always obey the law but Christ obeyed it all for them. He/she might not always pray for their enemies and in the midst of anger might alter few words that are not Christ-like, but Christ altered the perfect words for their sake. Think about it, we were not even meant to judge (Matthew 7:1) but he has taken your judgement and nailed it on the cross (Colossians 2:14). Grace is not just freedom to live in God, it is righteous freedom (Romans 6:1-2)

You may ask what about me who is suffering, maybe am just an awful human? I tell you God loves you and you know what? There is enough grace for you too.

For you who might be thinking that God does not love me, think again because our God is not a hypocrite!

Have an awesome day!

QUOTE OF THE DAY: Grace is righteous freedom.

LESSON OF THE DAY: God LOVES you so much more than you can imagine.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Go ahead and bless the Father for how far He has brought you and your loved ones this week;

ii) Pray this prayer for yourself: Lord you are the solid rock upon which my life is built hence in all areas of my life I will not know crash in Jesus Name!

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 1 Corinthians 3:11 (KJV) — For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ”.

The foundation of a house determines the durability of it. No matter how beautiful a mansion looks, if it’s foundation is faulty then of a truth in no distant time, the mansion will collapse. In a building, the foundation is everything that makes the building worth it; without the foundation, there is no building and if there’s a faulty foundation the building would collapse hence every builder puts in efforts to see that the foundation of their building is strong enough.

There’s an open question for us this morning: what is the foundation of your life? Is it your multimillion paying job, political appointment, the fleet of cars, skills, spouse, children or your academic achievement? Friend, if you build your life on any of the above and maybe others not mentioned, I tell you, that life is heading for a crash. Why is this so? Our Opening Scripture has made us understand that there’s no other foundation any man can lay except that which is already made and He is Jesus. Brethren, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground may appear solid but that’s a lie it won’t stand the test of time. It’s only upon Jesus we can build our life and the storms of life would come yet not affect us.

No man builds his life on Jesus and regrets it! It is a non-transferable responsibility. If you know you want to make it right this morning with Jesus, another opportunity is here to make Him the solid foundation of your life all you need to do is say this simple prayer believing in your heart: “Dear Jesus, I come to you today, I acknowledge that I’m a sinner but Lord I want to live for you now, I need you to be the foundation of my life, thank you for dying for me on the cross, from henceforth lead over my life and take over all that concerns me in Jesus Name — Amen!

Congratulations, like I always say it’s important to become born again but much more important is that you stay born again, for further information on how to live this new life you can contact the sender of this broadcast or your spiritual head at your church. God bless you in Jesus’ name — Amen!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: It is only in Jesus we can build our lives and be secured forever.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: Jesus is my solid rock.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Go ahead and bless the Father for the dawn of a new day;

ii) Father cause me to have a heart that’s willing to follow your every instruction in Jesus Name — Amen.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 16:7 — “When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him”.

God delights in the obedience of his children, it is His will that we adhere to all that He tells us, no natural father rejoices when their children are disobedient, so also is our God. We see from our Opening Scripture that as a reason for living right (having your ways pleasing to God in public and in secret) God himself would make one’s enemies be at peace with him. How will He do this? He’ll put your fear in their heart. We see this in the life of Isaac, there was famine in the land, he was about to move to Egypt but God appeared to him and told him to remain in the land of Gerar; he sowed in the same land where famine occurred. As a reason of his obedience, we see from scripture that he waxed great, and went forward until he became very great (Genesis 26:12). The king Abimelech had to tell him to go away from them because he was too great for them. After this, Isaac went to Beer-sheba and Abimelech went with his friend and one of the captains in the Army to meet with Isaac. Isaac asked why he had come to see him after chasing him away — we see Abimelech’s reply from “Genesis 26:28-29 — And they said, we saw certainly that the Lord was with thee: and we said, let there be now an oath betwixt between us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee; that thou will do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou hath now blessed of the Lord”.

It was possible for Abimelech to send his army against Isaac but no way he couldn’t, Isaac pleased God so his enemies had to negotiate for him to please save their lives, just one man yet so much power because his ways pleased God. You too can have this life only allow your ways to be pleasing to God. How does one cleanse his ways you may ask? “Psalm 119:9 (NLT) — How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your Word“. As you give yourself to obeying God, He’ll make you a sign and a wonder to your world in Jesus Name — Amen. Remain Ever Blessed.

LESSON FOR THE DAY: It truly pays to serve God.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: One with God is a majority.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Go ahead and give God glory for all He has done for you (remember if you thank God for His finger, you would see His hand);

ii) Ask God to strengthen you via His Word at all times.

Opening Scripture: Ephesians 6:10 (AMP) — In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

Praise God forevermore! This morning our Opening Scripture is taken from Ephesians 6:10 and we are admonished to be strong in the Lord and to draw strength from Him — being a believer does not exempt one from challenges but with God on our side, we are bound to overcome gloriously. We also see from our Opening Scripture that, we would be empowered through our union with Him. When we are united with God; I tell you our lives receives fresh empowerment and we begin to scale new heights spiritually, materially, educationally etc.

We see also that our God is the one we can draw strength from, He’s never tired of making Himself available to us when it seems as though we are weak. We understand that the strength God provides is a reason of His boundless might. God would never ever grow weak so we can draw strength from Him continually. Drawing strength from Him can be done when we unite ourselves with His Word (the Bible and His spoken Word via His servants). Have you ever felt weary on getting to church is as though the pastor was addressing your situation and you leave feeling empowered? Or you pick up your Bible in the midst of an ongoing crisis and you get a Word addressing that situation, it’s not as though you have not come across that passage of scripture before but as at that moment you receive fresh light and you feel the crisis is nothing compared to what God can do for you. I have experienced both and I tell you this: those are moments no one can steal from you.

Friends, there’s no need to feel weary and alone, go to God’s Word and take the required strength needed. God never grows weary, He is ever dependable. Remain Ever Blessed!

LESSON FOR THE DAY: In God, we receive strength that surpasses all human understanding to face the challenges of life.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: God is my the source of my strength.

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Father, we sincerely give you all the glory for today, we bless you. Thank you, Father, for being wonderful to us;

ii) Lord grant me grace to not doubt  your abilities in Jesus name!

OPENING SCRIPTURE: Romans 4:20 (NLT) – “Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this, he brought glory to God”.

Our case study this morning is Father Abraham, we understand that God had promised him he was going to be the father of nations. Years had passed however and it had not happened but let’s see Abraham’s attitude even in this. The Bible makes us to understand that Abraham never wavered at God’s promise, yet years had passed by since God promised. However, he never for once taught maybe God had forgotten him or maybe God had changed His mind about His promise. In fact, like we saw from our opening Scripture, Abraham’s faith grew stronger and God seeing this was glorified. Even in this delay Abraham was still firm in his faith and he believed God all the way.

We should learn from Abraham, in God’s Word, are contained God’s promises to us. Just maybe, you’ve been holding onto a Word and it seems as though it’s not coming to pass, I want to charge you like Abraham refuse to waver. God does not forget, neither does He forsake, if He has said it, be fully assured that it would come to pass. Whatever promise you’ve seen from Scriptures, hold on to it having no other option than God in mind. In this, you are giving glory to the Father. Someone might say it seems as though God is taking long but we understand from Isaiah 55:9 — “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”. God is not slow, He may appear slow but God is not; His timing is just perfect

Is there anything you are believing God for? hold on, it shall come to pass, rather than complain, feel down or try other means; relax like Abraham did and let your faith grow stronger and as you do this, you are giving glory to God. You can’t give God glory and He allows your life to experience shame. Reposition yourself, friends, and you will be lifted in Jesus name. Remain Ever Blessed !

LESSON FOR THE DAY: There is nothing too difficult for God, only believe in Him.

QUOTE FOR THE DAY: God can do it!

Fresh From Heaven Says Good Morning

i) Indeed our God is good and His mercies endure forever go ahead and appreciate Him;

ii) Ask the Lord for wisdom to behave well as His child in character and in actions.

OPENING SCRIPTURE: 1 Thessalonians 5:12 (ESV) — “We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you”.

Verse 13 (NIV) — “Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other”.

Praise God forever more! Today we shall be looking at a sensitive area as regards leadership of our spiritual heads. Most believers make the mistake of getting too familiar with the anointed (Spiritual Head) and end up missing the anointing. Our Opening Scripture admonishes us to hold our spiritual leaders (Bishop, Prophet, Priest, Pastors, Evangelist etc), in highest regards; unfortunately many do not know while others know — but allow familiarity creep in. Never get too familiar with the spiritual head sent over you, never try to rule them because your donations in church are higher, don’t even think you know more than them and you could lead better, God saw them before choosing them. Agreeably they may not make the right choices 100% at times; we saw this as in the case of Moses when he struck the rock more than necessary (Numbers 20:11-12), also the case of David when he carefully planned the death of Uriah so as to marry his wife (2 Samuel 11:1-17), Peter who also denied Jesus thrice rather than defending Christ (Mark 14:66-72). However, it is not in our place for us to talk down on them else we would be going against Scripture.

Psalm 105:15 — “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm”. This is not limited to physical harm alone, you could also harm the anointed with your word and actions so we must watch it. Do not be found in the company of those who mock the Spiritual Head over you. We must be conscious of this please! We learnt from Numbers 12:1-10 what happened to Miriam and Aaron when they spoke badly of Moses, God heard it and was angry with them — little children were not spared when they mocked the prophet Elisha (2 Kings 2:23-25). Friends, we should avoid carelessness in this area — they are God’s representatives and as such, we must treat them right. You could be older than they are but the anointing makes the difference — you could be more qualified educationally but the anointing makes that irrelevant. I see God’s wisdom made available to you — so as to rightly position yourself in Jesus Name — Amen!
Remain Ever Blessed.
